WHY FIJI?

Fiji has always been one of my top dream destination spots, and ever since the Poseidon Undersea Resort opened in 2010 it is at the top of my list for a future vacation. I have always been fascinated by the underwater world, and getting an opportunity to spend a luxurious night under the sea would be an unreal experience. I have always enjoyed relaxing vacations on the beach and I think this would be the perfect place for me to enjoy the beautiful beaches of fiji while at the same time enjoying some of the underwater accommodations the resort has to offer. A resort like this would be a perfect vacation destination to travel with a significant other or husband. Due to the fact that it is a 5 star hotel located in the tropical islands of Fiji, this is for now only a future DREAM which I hope I can make a reality one day.

WHAT IS THE POSEIDON UNDERSEA RESORT

The Poseidon Undersea Resort is located in the Fijian lagoon and is accessible by elevator, 40 feet underwater. It’s design is decorated in the style of Jule’s Vernes fictional submarine. The resort visits are one week long with access to all three types of rooms they have to offer. Two nights are spent underwater, and the other four nights in the beautiful beachfront or over-water bungalow rooms. All of the rooms include a magnificent king sized beds, a sitting room and library with an office space, Wi Fi internet and flat screen televisions.The underwater rooms have other special features that include external lights which can be switched on at night. As well, there is a push button inside your room which allows you to feed the fish and watch them interact right from your window.

1) Submarine Piloting- learn to pilot one of the three triton submarines throughout the waters of the 5000 acre lagoon


2)Deep Reef Excursions- sip cocktails while exploring the lagoons deep reefs on the Poseidon's 16 passenger luxury submarine


3)Explore the Abyss- dive to the depths of 1000 feet aboard one of the four triton 1000 feet submersibles.


4)Scuba Diving- diving lessons and adventures


5)Sea Trek on the Sea Floor- walk along the lagoon floor
